COVID-19 Guidelines and Safety Precautions:

The health and safety of Lake Walk event-goers, staff, community, and the greater public is of the utmost importance to us. We are excited to host The Local in a safe manner, while still fostering a memorable experience for shoppers and encouraging support of local, small businesses.

With that being said, the following measures will be in place for the Fall 2020 season of The Local:

  • Vendor spots will have increased space between one another to allow for increased social distancing between both shoppers and vendors.

  • Food trucks will not be present at this season's event. Only prepackaged food is permitted.

  • Gloves must be worn by all vendors involving food products.

  • Food samples must be individually packaged prior to the event. Creation of food samples at the event is prohibited.

  • Two hand sanitizer stations will be located at the entrance of The Local. In addition, hand sanitizer will be provided at each individual vendor space.

  • While most vendors accept all forms of payment, contactless payment options are encouraged to minimize hand to hand exchanges.

  • Masks/facial coverings are required for all shoppers, vendors, and Lake Walk staff.

All guests should abide by the following general guidelines when visiting Lake Walk:

  • When possible, please maintain at least 6 feet of physical space between yourself and others.

  • Per the City of Bryan's mayoral order regarding face coverings, individuals age 10 and older must use all reasonable efforts to social distance and to wear a mask/face covering where social distancing is difficult.

  • Masks are required upon entry to any of Lake Walk's outlets - The Stella Hotel, Campfire, or POV Coffeehouse.

  • Group sizes should be limited to 10 people or less. Please distance your group from others.

  • Please cleanse your hands as frequently as possible, including before and after visiting Lake Walk.

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we respectfully ask you to stay home and visit us another time.
