6Whiskey is Lake Walk's newest retail tenant expecting to open later this fall! Featuring a variety of apparel, home goods, and merchandise that is devoted to the Lone Star Lifestyle. Taking on her great grandfather's callsign, 6Whiskey is continuing to soar into new horizons as a member of our community. Meet Bailey at The Local this month to preview some of her wares and show her some Bryan-College Station hospitality!
Double Vision - Oct. 17th
Ashley Morehead & John Kaser
Meet the talented visionaries behind this week's custom tote embroidery! Ashley and John are the dynamic duo that offers custom chain stitch embroidery for events and brands. With Ashley's vintage chain stitch machine from the 1960s, she embroiders the designs that John creates.
"The only motor in the machine is the one moving the needle up and down. If you love the quality of vintage bowler jackets or work shirts, it was most likely embroidered with a machine just like this one"
At our Oct. 17th market, Ashley will be adding a first or last name to a tote bag from any season of The Local! For more details, visit us at the The Local tent.
BCS Habitat for Humanity Pumpkin Patch - Oct. 10th
BCS Habitat for Humanity's Faith in Action committee is bringing their annual pumpkin patch to The Local this October! We will have a variety of pumpkins for purchase to make the perfect fall accent you've been looking for. Whether for carving or decoration, you won't want to miss the magic. All proceeds made during this time will be used to sponsor and build homes for families throughout the Bryan/College Station community. Buy a pumpkin, take a fun fall photo, and enjoy The Local this Tuesday!
We hope to see you at The Local this October!
