This Week at The Local - 9/26

Now that the fall season has officially begun, it is the perfect time to come and join us this week at The Local! When you're not strolling around the lake or trying your luck at our Spin-to-Win wheel, discover plenty of handmade, one-of-a-kind goods that will pique your interest. Whether hunting for a gift or just browsing various produce, home goods, and much more, these artisans have products you won't be able to find anywhere else.

This season, we will also have 12 Resident Vendors with us for all 12 markets! From personalized pet bandanas to the best sweet treats around, these vendors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Each week we will feature one of our Resident Vendors and give you the chance to learn a little bit more about them.

When you're browsing around at The Local this week, chances are you will smell Rebeca's sweet treats from a mile away. As a College Station native and self-taught baker, Rebeca always loved watching the show 'Cake Boss' when she was young. Starting with simple boxed cake mixes, Rebeca discovered her love for baking and a talent that would eventually be shared with our community here at The Local.

As a result, Moonstruck Pastry & Coffee Co. was born! Rebeca brings a variety of pastries, confections, and baked goods that change every week. Try Rebeca's personal favorite, an almond croissant, at The Local.

Rebeca thinks you should visit us because "it's a beautiful place to enjoy your evening!" If you chat with Rebeca this Tuesday at The Local, you can also congratulate her on becoming a Regional Winner of the 2023 Entrepreneur Award Program!
