About AK Rustic Candle Co

Ashley has been pouring woodsy and masculine scented candles since 2021. Her candles hold stories in their scents transporting you to a fond childhood memory or accomplishments from their favorite university (Whoop)! In addition to candles, you can experience these 30 unique scents as wax melts and car freshies too. Right now you can enjoy her Harvest Collection which has her favorite scent, Witch's Night Out! If you can't make it to The Local, you can also find AK Rustic Candle Co. at Aggieland Outfitters, MaroonU and Southern Roots Resale Boutique.

Ashley says you should visit The Local because we're "filled with many talented artisans who just enjoy sharing their craft with the world. The Local is the perfect way to decompress after a long day, get some holiday shopping in and meet some other members in the community!"

About Thee Pickle Witch

Hailey started making pickles three years ago after having a significant life event forcing her to find a creative solution to take care of herself and her children. With no room for error, she made 24 jars of pickles for a Christmas market. She sold out and now she had given her "pickle addicts" a taste and now they wanted more! This month she's making eight pounds of pickles to sell at various markets. During the pandemic, she created the Pickle Addicts Anonymous Club to deliver her pickled products around Bryan-College Station. Her favorite variety is "Hell has no Fury" which is her hottest horseradish pickle that is not for the faint of heart!

Hailey thinks you should visit the local because, "its a wonderful resource for the community. For some vendors, such as myself, this is our bread and butter and we rely on our markets to grow and support our families. The Local is a beautiful weekday market that I am proud to be a part of!"

Here's the full vendor list, and we can't wait to see you there!
