Thank you for your interest in applying to be a vendor at The Local!

Please read the following information to ensure your business and
products fit our market requirements.


  • All vendors are required to produce or handcraft all products they intend to sell.

    • The following do not qualify as handmade: vinyl customization of manufactured goods, resale goods, stickers, and 3D printed items.​

  • All vendors must have a tangible product for purchase at the market. Businesses solely selling services are not allowed.

  • All vendors are required to have the proper licensing/certification to sell their goods within the State of Texas, Brazos County, and the City of Bryan.

  • Multilevel marketing businesses are prohibited from participating. This means representatives for businesses such as Scentsy, LuLaRoe, Mary Kay, Papparazzi Accessories, etc. are prohibited.

  • Non-vendor tents are not allowed unless they have written permission from the Market Manager prior to the market. Any non-profit looking to do community outreach at Lake Walk should contact


  • All vendors are required to have a 10' x 10' tent. Tents must be weighed down at each market with at least 35lbs. Stakes are prohibited on  Lake Walk property, so an alternate way to weigh down your tent is necessary.

  • Business signage is required to be displayed during the market.

  • The Local is a Rain or Shine market. Learn more about this policy here.

  • The Local is a seasonal market, held only in the spring and fall. Night Bazaars are held in the summer and winter.

    • The Local takes place on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. You must be set up and ready to sell by 4:00 PM, and able to stay the entire duration of the event.

    • Night Bazaars take place on Fridays from 7:00 - 10:00 PM. You must be set up and ready to sell by 7:00 PM, and able to stay the entire duration of the event.


  • Vendor fees are established annually by the BPOA. The current rate is $25 per market, which is due before the start of each season.
